Rachel Carlson Debutes At the Moose

Rachel Carlson, is a certified teacher for 7-Gypsies, and loves to do designs using their products. She will be coming to the Moose on June 27, 2009 to debut her newest design and to lead two special classes just for Scrappy’s friends.

Rachel has just finished designing a brand new album she calls the ‘Journal Card Paper Bag Album’, and is going to do an exclusive debut  of that album just for Scrappy’s friends at the Moose.

This design will not even be released to the public until the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Show in Orlando later this summer. But because the Moose loves to do something special for Scrappy’s friends, and something that Delta rarely gets the opportunity to do, Scrappy has made it possible for you to be the first in the country to see it.

The Journal Card Paper Bag Album

But, like those TV commericals, there’s more….. You will not only have the opportunity  to see it, but also to MAKE one for your very own, while under the leadership of the designer herself.    Talk about a Scrapp’n  exclusive!  You don’t even have to travel to Denver or a big city, it’s all happen’n at the Moose in Delta!

We don’t get this opportunity offen, so we hope you will take advantage of this chance to learn new uses for the 7-Gypsies products and to be instructed by a certified scrapbooking teacher.   How cool is that!

But wait, there is even more… Remember we said two classes!  That’s right, she is not only going to teach you to do the Paper bag Album, she is going to teach you to make this Home Sweet Home album in the afternoon class on the 27th as well.  Two great classes under one great teacher.  It’s just Scrapp’n Cool!

Don’t miss your chance to be instructed by this bubbly scrapbook designer/teacher (read her bio below).  Drop by the store and sign up for both the classes soon, these are a great deal!

Be sure to check out this and more of Scrappy’s  classes at ‘TheScrappyMoose.com’.

Let Scrappy take a minute to introduce you to Rachel:

Rachel Carlson

Rachel Carlson lives in Englewood, Colorado with her lovable and charming husband Rich and their two spoiled bundles of fur: LoMein and Kung Pao. Amber, Rachel’s daughter, who is about to turn 20 – GULP – lives in Texas.

Rachel started paper crafting ‘the proper way’ in 2002. She was reunited with her 8th grade scrapbook a few years ago and was appalled to see that she used ‘scotch tape’ to adhere collectibles such as movie stubs, tags from clothing, bumper stickers and of all things, packaging from fast food establishments.

Rachel lives to seek out vintage treasures on travels, at market or her local antique stores. She frequents summer markets with her friends, thrift stores and consignment stores to find the latest treasure to repurpose. If it can be altered into vintage art or other, that’s just an added bonus.

Rachel loves aesthetics and her style is artsy with a hint of eclectic flare. In no specific order, she loves polka dots, photography and cupcakes! In fact, when she travels, she makes sure that a visit to a cupcake shop is tops on her list. Teaching is one of Rachel’s favorite things to do. She likes to inspire and make sure that each student is pleased with their project and that they might have learned techniques that they would not have otherwise known.

Rachel has had her designs published by CorrespondenceART, Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Paper Crafts and Scrapbooks Etc. Rachel designs for Therm O Web and travels to tradeshow to do demos and make-n-takes. She is also a 7 Gypsies Certified Teacher
